San Antonio Hair Straightening Rave for Texas TX -- This salon, which I'll post links to in a sec, is really extraordinary. I'm not saying that just to score points with Ann Monique & Janey: Lana looks gorgeous, sporting her new look. (What the Hair Girls call their "new 'do" -- Is that short for hair-do? Why do girls call their hairstyles a 'do? Ann Monique's gorgeous, very classy, very cool. When someone's hair is done right, it changes their whole look, and it's really flattering. (You looked good before, Ann Monique... but not you look... GOOD! And I'm not just saying that to score points... Well, you know.) Lana got an entire make-over, kindof.

SAN ANTONIO HAIR STRAIGHTENING
is the BEST PLACE in San Antonio Texas for Hair Straightening, according to Ann Monique & Janey (and according to Lana too, who's so shy & quiet sometimes it's hard to tell she's even in the room. Speak up, Lana: we're interested in what you have to say). THE ONLY place in San Antonio for hair, according to the Hair Girls. Thing is, this salon / stylist is actually in Austin TX, not San Antonio... I'll explain...
This hair stylist / beauty salon is really, really good, and the "San Antonio Hair Straightening" href link started because Tammy said her only hope of getting a good hair straightening & good hair color was taking the trip from SA (San Antonio) to this "dream" stylist. All the other "Hair Girls" said YES, but Bob & me got a big kick out of that, being guys. (Ryan didn't even believe us, he really didn't, when me & Bob told him the first couple of times.) So, that's the story of how the "SAN ANTONIO HAIR STRAIGHTENING" link (for a great hair stylist) came to be, & how it's actually not exactly in SA (SA = San Antonio. Have we established that?) It started as me & Bob poking fun at Ann Monique & Tammy & Lana & their girlfriends, truth be told, and now I think everyone we know has a "SAN ANTONIO HAIR STRAIGHTENING" link on their websites, as a silly.
*Whew: Explaining jokes is sure more work than making them. I'm going to leave this kind of stuff to the professionals, from now on.

"San Antonio Hair Straightening Texas" wasn't the original name for this page, if early visitors are confused. (I know I am -- and it's MY PAGE!) I was the San Antonio Hair Blog, the San Antonio Whatsis Hair Straightening, the San Antonio Texas Electric Dog & Pony Show & Hair Straightening Texas Blog... I don't even remember all the names. Janey & Chrissie (not so much Joye & Leigh Anne, who's the shy & quiet type :-) kept on us all to put these hair links on our pages, which is how my name changes started. (I really am beginning to need a separate straightening page, I think.)

I've been wanting to do this: list all the names for Japanese hair straightening. Janester(Janey) & the Girls (Hair Girls - Ann Monique, Lana, Tammy, et al, etc. ) think I'm obsessed, but I confess I'm fascinated at how many names this process has. There must be several million, at least. Maybe ten hundred million. Ann Monique keeps saying that their aren't that many, and I kept saying there are, I can't spare the bandwidth to list all of them. So, just to prove my point to Ann Mo & Lana, here goes...

Leogh Anne had the latest straightening, the change was dramatic. (You're gorgeous, Ann Monique -- Sorry, I don't mean to sound so surprised...) It's really beautiful, we all think so. (Bob and me, being guys, just appreciate how good Leigh Anne looks; the girls Joye et al all have some sort of secret kinship going; they take one look at Leigh Anne, and know all the specific stuff she had done. When you're a girl, you're just born knowing this beauty stuff, Bob & I have decided. Honestly, I wouldn't know a Chi Flat Iron from a Thai Chi iced tea. But I can appreciate a petty girl.* wink *)
It seemed like a big step for Lana, she couldn't make up her mind for a while, so we encouraged her; I think she finally just got fed up with dealing her little tufts of mass curlies. The whole gang has "Fashion Excursions" into the heart of Texas now -- Janey goes in for re-touches; Chrissie, who didn't seem to have that many curls to begin with, is the lone hold-out. (She's considering becoming a REDHEAD! *SWOON!* Tammy-- pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese do this! Ann Monique looks great with her new red. Redheads, yes.)
